We live into a stratified society where the communication between creators and workers are sometimes difficult. As designers when we present a project to a manufacture, we are introduced to the boss, then the commercial and if we insist to the workshop manager. It is nearly impossible to meet the person directly responsible of our production. Yet which best interlocutors could we have if not the workers themselves?
Directly confronted to the practical feasibility, they are among the best able to reflect on solutions which will work for both the technique and the design of the object.
It’s the reason why at NAAdesign establish a direct contact between us and the workers in order to enable a necessary dialog to the development of a quality object faithful to the initial concept. Furthermore we found it not rare that this exchange enrich deeply the project.
