What is NAAdesign ?

NAAdesign is a small production house of object design & decoration based in Chiang mai, north of Thailand. We create and manufacture objects born out of the meeting of Design & Local handicrafts. Using materials such as wood, ceramics, metal, our products are designed to last and accompany you all your life.

Where are you from?

We are a Thai–French Métis brand. Our life, office and production are in Chiang Mai and its region. We are very proud our local sustainable production can get to all corners of the world.

What does NAA mean?

We choose to name ourselves NAA/นะdesign because like us, it’s a beautiful mix. In French “Naa !” would be a childish but yet sassy word whether in thai it will be a punchy one inviting to make a move. In both languages “Naa !” is a kicky word reflecting enthusiasm and liveliness which is a good reflect of our identity.

Why should I buy here?

Our products stand out for their design and originality. If you buy any of our products you will have a unique piece born out of the hands of an incredibly gifted artisan, and it will accompany you all your life. We believe in the idea of “fewer but better”, fewer products but better, not only in quality but also in sustainability.

PRODUCTS

Where are they produced?

Nearly all our products are produced in the region of Chiang Mai capital city of the north of Thailand with decades of tradition handmade working such as wood, ceramic, textile… Our products are created by master craftsmen who take the utmost care of each piece so that the product reaches our customers in perfect condition.

Do you take the environment into consideration?

Of course, respect for the environment is a priority to us. We use local raw materials and make a point to use ether ancient wood or if not plantation ones. Our wood finitions are made with water based paints.

How should I look after the product to lengthen its useful life?

As a general rule, we would say that the products should be treated with common sense. In this respect, there are some basic tricks like not making them fall or using a damp cloth to clean them that will make them last for a long, long time. You can also nourish the wooden products by polish them with natural oil or wax. In any case, each product comes with its maintenance instructions which will ensure a long life.

Can I personalize a product?

As a general rule, sizes or colours other than those offered on the website cannot be selected; only in exceptional cases can we personalize a product. In any case, feel free to ask us, we will be happy to help you.

WARRANTY

Do the NAAdesign products have a warranty?

Our products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for six months from the day it ships. If the product has any manufacturing defect, we will be happy to replace it free of charge, although you should bear in mind that we will not replace products that have deteriorated due to inappropriate use.
Our warranty for wood objects does not extend to damage from abuse, exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, or impacts (such as dropping), regardless of force.
Warranty is valid only with the order number and matching email address. The purchase of any NAAdesign product via a third party vendor (e.g. eBay, Amazon) will not under any circumstance be covered by our warranty policy.

How good is the quality of NAAdesign products?

Our products are designed to last. We are demanding with design, paying attention to every last detail, and with the selection of materials. Moreover, since we work with master craftsmen, we can ensure meticulous care in the fabrication of each piece. And we finally check all the pieces ourselves.

ORDERS

How do I place an order?

As in any other online shop, placing an order is easy and intuitive. Browse to and access the desired product, add it to the basket and then proceed to checkout, indicating the address and form of payment.

What do I do if there is an error or I need to change a datum in my order?

If you notice any error in your order, write to us immediately so that we can try to solve the matter as soon as possible. You may contact us here.

Can I cancel an order?

Yes, you can cancel an order if we have not yet sent it to you.

Prices always in thai bath

Even though at our online shop you can select the currency in which you wish to view the prices, all purchases are made in thai bath. Don’t worry, you don’t have to do anything. At the end of the purchase process you will see the conversion to thai bath of the currency selected.

How do I apply a discount/gift coupon?

If you have a coupon you can use it on the checkout page. Just before selecting the form of payment, look for the box indicating the coupon and introduce your code.

PAYMENTS

Is payment secure at naadesign.com?

Yes, you can rest at ease, we use the very sure and securized paypal system . If you wish to find out more, don’t hesitate to ask us.

What are the forms of payment?

You can pay for your products by PayPal or credit card; we accept both credit and debit cards.

Are taxes included?

Prices of all products include taxes (VAT) for purchases made in Thailand. If the order has to go through customs, additional charges might be generated which depend on the destination country, in which case these charges will be paid by the customer.

Are import duties included in the price?

If the delivery is made to a country that charges customs or import duties, these will be charged when the package reaches the destination country, in which case NAAdesign does not pay these charges. Unfortunately, we do not have control over these charges and we cannot inform you about the cost. Customs policies vary from one country to another, so if you have any query in this respect, please get in touch with the local customs office.

Can I request a bill?

Of course, you can request it from us by email.

SHIPMENTS

Countries we are shipping to…

We ship to any corner of the world, but you should bear in mind that the customs may levy charges or duties.

Delivery times

Delivery times largely depend on whether we have the product in stock or whether it has to be made. As a general rule, small products and accessories are shipped the day following the reception of the order while larger or more voluminous products may take a while longer. On the product page of this website there is a section where you will find the estimated delivery time. If you should, however, need a shorter delivery time, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

How do I know when my order has been shipped?

We will keep you informed at all times. When you make the order you will receive an email with a summary of same, and when the order leaves our warehouse you will be sent another email with the tracking number and the shipping company so that you can check the status of the order.

What do I do if my order is delayed?

First we would ask you for a little patience but if you consider the delay to be considerable, write to us and we will look for a solution.

What do I do if the merchandise is damaged on arrival?

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase, so if it has arrived in bad condition, contact us as soon as possible so that the problem can be solved. It would be a very good idea to attach photographs so that we can claim from the shipping company.

RETURNS

Can I return a product?

If you are not satisfied when you receive the product, you may make a return without commitment, it’s a simple process. You have 14 days from the reception of the product. If you wish to return a product, contact us indicating your order number and the product you wish to return, and we will tell you what procedure to follow.
You should have in mind that the returned product must be in perfect condition, it must not have been used and must be returned in the original packaging. The cost will be refunded to you by the same form of payment selected and the shipping costs incurred from the return will be deducted.
